I spent the day in the hot texas sun...building fence. Since we live on a farm...it has to be done. And since my adorable husband is out of town working...that leaves me and the kiddos to build it. PIECE OF CAKE!
Putting up the 256 ft of sheep/goat fence was the easy part. The pain in the butt part was coaxing the big boys (bull calves) back over to the right side of the pasture so we could fix it, and cutting all the weeds and underbrush on the fence line down by hand since the weedeater bit the dust.
There was a nice wind blowing for a while, so that helped since the heat index was a billion and one today. But we trucked right along and got quite a bit done. Soon well be able to turn the goats n sheep out to the big pasture.
As soon as the loggers finish clearing the 10 acres in the back of the pasture, we will turn the big ducks and geese out to the ponds! yay :)
